Tuition and Cancellation Policy

Students pay monthly, in advance to reserve one thirty minute lesson each week with Mr. Hutcherson. Students will not receive a refund if they miss a class or discontinue lessons before the end of a previously paid month. The monthly charge is based on four (4) lessons per month. Three or four times per year, there are five weeks during a calendar month. Those extra lessons will be used as make up lessons . I maintain a full schedule on my lesson days and it is difficult to schedule make up lessons during my normal schedule. Students are not guaranteed make-ups for missed lessons. Even though make up lessons are not required, I will try to do so if there remains no more five week month lessons and only as scheduling permits.

  • Student tuition is due during the last week of each month for the following month's lessons. Any student who has not paid for lessons by the end of the first week of the month may be removed from the schedule and that lesson time can me made available to other prospective students.
  • Students will not receive a refund if they discontinue lessons before the previously paid month.
  • As a courtesy, I ask that students give a two-week notice before discontinuing lessons.
  • No lesson will be made up if missed and Mr, Hutcherson is not notified.
  • If Mr. Hutcherson must initiate resceduling a lesson, parents are responsible for keeping up with the day and time. If a rescheduled lesson is forgotten, it will not be rescheduled again.
